Hi All!
Just wanted to give you a little update on what’s been going on here at Sava central! Today I finished giving the boys bathroom a mini makeover! I painted and put in new hardware, doorknob included (so no one could lock themselves in the bathroom…anymore) and I even painted the ceiling and installed a new light fixture! Let me tell you it has been a very rewarding experience! I have never done any home improvements and this was my first attempt…so I’m thrilled to say that while it is by no means a professional job…it’s my handiwork and I’m SO excited that I was able to accomplish it!
My next project is the other upstairs bathroom…it’s identical to the boys and needs some love really badly! Then I’m going to tackle the guest bathroom and bedroom downstairs! That should keep me busy until November or so! I think I will take a break over the holidays and then rev up for the New Year! I’m planning it out already…see what accomplishing things will do for me!
On another exciting note…the weather here is finally changing and definitely for the better! It’s gotten a lot cooler over the last week and yesterday it didn’t get above 74 the whole day! That was just wonderful! If this is a prelude to Fall out here…I’m going to love Fall! I will just have to vacation in CA during the month of August and come back in time for school and Fall! Ha!
The boys are over their cold and will be back in school Tuesday! And my sister, her husband and my adorable nephew will be coming to visit for a whole week on Wednesday! I couldn’t be more excited to see them and spend some time with family! I am also looking forward to touring around a little more and seeing some new things I haven’t seen yet!
