Hi Ladies!
Sorry about the delay in posting! (Especially for Cristina!) I am just starting to feel better…I have been a little under the weather the last few days! And I had such a bad migrane last night..not sure what that was about! Things here are just moving along! It’s October, but I swear it doesn’t feel like it yet! We are supposed to get some rain tomorrow and I hope we do…and some cooler weather too…the last couple of days it has been close to 90! And that’s no fun!
The house is coming along slowly…I spent 6 hours gardening on Sunday afternoon in the blazing sun! The front yard looks much better…but there is still so much to do! A little at a time! I just have to keep reminding myself of that! I also have to finish that other upstairs bathroom…I need to strip some more wallpaper and then paint, etc. Yikes! No rest for the weary!
I will join the boys on Thursday for their first field trip to Gentry’s Farm! I am so excited I can’t even stand it! We will go on a hayride and look for pumpkins…how cool is that! I’m loving being the mom of the school aged kids! Getting into a routine is exciting and crazy all at the same time! You gotta love it! I will let you know how it all goes and how many pumpkins I have to buy before we can leave!

Great to hear things are going so well. We are all OK. I just got back from a bachelorette party in Santa Ynez – had an excellent time. There were 9 of us in all – what a riot! Blanca organised it for her sister who will be marrying at the beginning of November so it was mostly their family – all women.
Well, must finish up and pop off to bed
